Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit openever.org and its subdomains, such as docs.openever.org (together, the "Website"), and how it's used. The Website is run by Openever, a loose collective of independent contributors who maintain open-source software for the Everscale blockchain ("Openever," "we," "us"). See our Terms of Use for more about who we are.
When you visit
The Website itself doesn't collect personal information. It's a set of static pages with no accounts, forms, or comments. Its code doesn't set cookies or run analytics or tracking scripts, and it loads its fonts and images from its own domains, not from third parties. On docs.openever.org, search runs entirely in your browser, and the site remembers interface choices, such as which sidebar sections you opened, in your browser's storage. None of this is sent to us or anyone else.
Like any website, it's delivered by a hosting provider, currently Cloudflare, Inc. The provider receives standard technical information with each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. It uses this information to deliver the Website and protect it from attacks and abuse, as described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. To filter out bots, it may set strictly necessary security cookies, which aren't used for advertising or to track you across websites. This information may be processed in the United States and other countries.
Our hosting provider shows us traffic statistics, such as the number of visits and the countries they come from, along with details of requests its security tools flag, which can include IP addresses. We use this information only to understand how the Website is used and to keep it secure, and we don't try to identify individual visitors.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and follow up, keep it only as long as we need it, and don't share it with anyone outside Openever unless the law requires it. Issues and contributions on GitHub are public and covered by GitHub's privacy statement.
Links to other websites
The Website links to other websites, such as GitHub and block explorers. They have their own privacy practices, which this policy doesn't cover.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal information, share it for advertising, or build profiles of visitors. Because we don't track you, the Website works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
The Website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Because we don't keep personal information about visitors, there's usually nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have a privacy question or request, such as deleting an email you sent us, contact us. Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, the UK, or California, you may have additional rights, and we'll honor them as the law requires. Where EU or UK data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in running and securing the Website and in responding to messages.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy by posting a new version here and changing the date at the top. If we start collecting more information, for example by adding analytics, we'll update this policy first.
